I too watched this for a while with the same thoughts in mind.

I saw the bid go up and my manager, who is also a drummer(he owns 3 or 4 vintage kits)said if I didn't move on this, I'd be kickin myself forever so...

No worries. It's goin to a good home to live with a bunch or it's brothers and sister and it will see the stage(what it was made for)

That drum will hang with the high end crap of today.

I thought it was birch. looks like the later scandi birch shells.

It's gonnaa be finished in Karellian Birch like the rest.

Drops are very undervalued as a whole but although I will never sell em, this one should make my kit much more desirable as I will now have 13, 16, 18, 20 and 24. all matching.
