poppy the WfL canister throne I have is the short one you could order them in two different lengths mine thank heavens is the correct height for me it is 21" tall without the seat on it. also I'm going to need you to do a reupholster on my seat for me this was redone sometime ago I'd like to go back to the red vinyl it was originally?? here see if this of any help give it a look.

I think canister thrones look cool but if you have one that is wrapped then you need another case for it! I think the one the jim petty sells is carpeted which, to me, makes more sense if you are using it as a trap case.

It looks pretty simple to me. The reinforcement ring could be made buy slicing it from the shell and cutting it. The aluminum trim might be somewhat of a project. What are the 2 (with one missing) heel looking things on the bottom?? The latch looks like a common old suitcase latch or foot locker latch. I think The bottom of the seat should have been stapled a little more uniform and a cover on the bottom of the seat.

Ill recover the seat for $25 out of any color you want. It will probably cost more to ship than to cover. I have at least 1000 rolls of vinyl lol.

Note the tubes in one of these pics. I could actually make a throne out of one of those tubes!

poppy, the rubber heels on the bottom most of them are missing only two of the originals are left that is what your seeing., I'm going to use a sound off rubber pad cut it up in the same shape as the originals and replace the pads that are missing on the bottom of my canister throne, poppy with your background this will be a day in the park. My canisiter throne was make out of a 12" shell,, Poppy I'll be sending this seat top to you in a week or so OK?

How thick are the rubber heels? I have some rubber like a pick up floor mat. It's about 1/8" thick
