Hello gents.
I'm looking for some history on the Leedy company.
Such as a time line for their different makes and models.
Specifically, when did they introduce the "Spartan" line of bass drums?

The Spartan was from the 30's +/- clear into the late 40's.
There are two books that cover Leedy, but do not give a consice timeline. I have 20 or so catalogs, but the exact answer would require someone that has researched this in detail and they would need to own some of the more valuable Leedy catalogs.
They are pictured in the 1933 and 1948 catalog but I do not have anything prior to 1933 and the next catalog I have is 1953 and it is not pictured.
More info might come forward.
