I THINK it is way outdated though...

The Manhattan drum shop listed...wasn't that around 15-20 years ago?

Definitely an old list. Drummer's World is gone (re-emerging online-only), Manny's was bought by and absorbed into Sam Ash, etc. etc. A lot of these stores also are guitar stores that don't have drums, etc.

For what it's worth I recommend Main Drag Music in Brooklyn. Great drum crew there.

I thought Mannys was still around? Was it recent that SA bought them out? I'll be in Brooklyn next Sunday for a guitar show (helping my son) but may hit Main Drag if they are open. Would be fun to stop they have a good selection.

Yeah Manny's was a cool place, but gone as of 2009.

That guitar show is at Brooklyn Bowl I think. Main Drag is a quick walk from there.
