Need parts for 1934 Leedy Broadway Std. snare

Loading...

Hello,

I need to find a snare strainer and butt bracket for a 1934 Leedy Broadway Standard wooden snare drum (14"x6"). The shell has 4 holes in a rectangular pattern where the strainer mounts. The horizontal distance between holes is 1 and 1/2", and the vertical distance is 1". The butt bracket is still on the drum, but the 2 screws (and probably a small metal bar) that pinch the snare strings against the bracket are missing. I do have some digital pictures that I could send if that would help.

Thanks to anyone who may be able to help out.

Jerry

Post this in the wanted section, too.

For starters...eBay, but they will be expensive. Also try vintage drum shops...Mike Curiotto or Maxwell's Vintage, etc (but they will be expensive+).

Funny...Steve Maxwell at Maxwell Vintage actually recently purchased the rights to the Leedy name, if I am not mistaken. So he'd be my first try.
