Need opinions on Ludwig Supra

Loading...

I have a lead on a 1970s 6.5x14 Ludwig Supra. I’m waiting in some decent photos but it appears to be in good — not great — shape (I’m on an iPad and can’t figure out how to upload an image). I’d rate it a 5 or 6 on a scale of 10. The owner says the throw has been replaced (looks to be a P85). Any idea what a ballpark fair price range is?

Thanks!

Hi Steve,

It all depends on condition. The Supra 402 is very popular, too! Still, I'd need to know about flaking chrome, pitting, non-original and missing parts to make an educated guess on pricing.

I’d say B and O badge supra in good shape 275 to 350

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

I would tend to agree with jaghog on this. We can get more specific if you can supply some good pictures.

Two big factors will be condition and whether it is the pointy badge or rounded corner edge. Nice 6.5s with the pointy badge bring a serious premium and have been for years.

Here are the photos I have so far (not great). The seller says there is no flaking of the chrome but the shell has a few scratches. Thank you all for responding.

Looks like an awesome score if it's a decent price. 6.5 pointy badge. Very Nice

That should run well north of $350.

Looks like a real nice drum. What's its value? Hard to say these days....A nice, clean one used to go for over $500 all day long....But the current market is dismal for sellers.
