Need Ludwig Supraphonic throwoff screw.

Hi

I'm trying to put a 1970 Supraphonic back together after cleaning it. The very last screw for the top hole of the throwoff/shell hole is just too messed up to allow the nut to tighten it to the shell. Anybody have a screw plus nut that fits this hole in the shell and secures the top of the throwoff to the shell that I could buy?

I'd be grateful. Thanks

Those are standard hardware store screws and nuts. The gas to get to the hardware store should cost you more than the parts.

They might have still been chrome or nickle plated during that period or they might have already switched over to standard zinc or cad plating.

If the others are chrome plated, try getting a stainless steel screw and polish the head.
