Hi Guys:
I would like to replace the snares on an old Slingerland snare drum but can't seem to find replacements (I checked the Puresound web site). Does anyone recognize them and maybe can suggest a replacement source?

puresound no longer make the metal tab snare wires. you'll just have to use standard snare wires.

The wires you are looking for are the Puresound PRS-1416. While Puresound no longer offers them, someone out there may have a set. An excellent guide on how to install them can be found here: http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/snare_applications/slingerland_3point/slingerland_3-point.html
