Need help with Majestic kit

I need some parts to complete this kit and am having trouble finding anything in the Omaha area. I have a 60's Majestic kit that I picked up this week and it came without any screws to hold down the heads and rims. I have the threaded pieces for most of the kick drum, but none for the snare or 12" side tom. Turns out that the kick takes a standard sized thread and the toms do not. The local drum shop had nothing that would would fit and I hate to have to replace the innards for every single lug. Any thoughts??? Also have a snare strainer throw that does work, but I'm missing part of the other end that attaches to the drum. Here are photos of the snare throw on both sides. Thanks,Charlie GlasgowOmaha, NE

Hey Charlie, First let me say nice set that you have. Also the Majestic drums were made by Star drums that turned into Tama drums...Now onto you parts i will go by your post the snare butt side strainer i have also have the T-rods for your snare how many lug's does your drum have?....Mikey

I should have known when this guy posted the add for 180 and then dropped the price to 150. I offered him 80 and he jumped on it. Of course he failed to tell me that the freaking' tuning screws to hold the rims and head down could not be found around here. Freakin' shyster! Anyway, I'm missing the feet for the kick drum and the threaded screw to hold the feet in. Where can I find the replacement parts? Here is the mount...Thanks,Charlie GlasgowOmaha, NE

Hey Charlie, On the bass leg mounts you say you need the feet? Are you saying that you have the leg's? I do have the legs {they are also called spur's}..Also have the wing nut's for the mounts...Mikey

No worries Chuck. I'm sure you will hear from Mikey by morning. He's got everything you need, and if he doesn't, you will surely find all you need here on the forum. No worries......I have one of those too.....I look forward to slapping it together. I have it all cleaned up, just need to take it to the shop to have the edges checked. You will have a heard time finding the cymbal arm off the BD though. Prepare to go without that for a while! I have never seen one available, and it is rare to even catch a pic of the thing. Enjoy though.....$80 is a real bargain for such a kit. You have the offset lugs?John

Hey John, Thank's for this....Mikey

Hey Mikey:

I do not have the legs or feet for this kick drum. I found a set on Ebay, but the seller wants $79.00 dollars for the legs and mounts and I kind of thought it a bit pricey considering the entire kit was bought for the same amount. Then again, I might be out of touch on these MIJ kits.

Cheers,

Hey Mikey:

Not as worried about the cymbal arm mount replacement, but was curious if that is what it really was. Here is a photo of a Whitehall kit that I'm on the tail end of and the tom mounts are nearly identical. Let me know if this helps or otherwise, I'll run out to the garage and snap another shot of the Majestic tom.

Cheers,

Charlie
