Agreed,The triple rings will mean a 3ply shell, so usually 57/62 erra in MIJ drums.Looks good,Not sure about the international size..?I have a late 50s Premier kit..that's complete, but never came with a flr Tom,...it looks to be the same wrap...If yr interested in selling, I'm at kfabian1970@gmail.comI'm in Toronto/Canada.

It actually looks like a good one! I hope you can make a deal for it. I like the central reinforcement ring, I'm sure it has helped to keep that drum in-round over the years. The other 'feature' is that the wood is so nicely aged. I'm sure just from looking at it that the drum produces a nice warm, fat sound. Go for it! It'll be a cool addition to your kit.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Hello,The floor is made by pearl sometime from 1964 to 1966 the photos tell me this by the three rings inside the drum but also by the floor tom legs mounts and the shape of the copy of the slingerland lugs.cant give you a name Pearl used over 100 names on their drums made in the 60s.

Hi Rims,

Thanks for the message.

There is a possibility I would sell it. If I can find a matching John Grey floor tom, I'd sell it for sure. I started looking online for one. I'll keep your email address and message if so.

Cheers.

Hi John,

The wood does look like it aged nicely. Very much in round, overall a very nice drum. The person who owned it took good care of it, like the rest of the kit.

If I can find a proper, matching John Grey floor tom, I'll sell it for sure.

Cheers.

Hi Mikey,

Thanks for the great insight. I had a feeling the mounts would lead to some ideas. Seems to make sense.

Thanks again, cheers.

To anyone who's responded in this thread, or viewing. If you have any suggestions, or know of anyone that has a matching John Grey Broadway floor tom, I'd love to chat with them. Note: I'd be looking for the double headed version.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers.
