Need help identifying 3 cymbals

Good day,

I picked up a 9/72 Rogers kit this weekend which had various other things included. Of these were three cymbals. From what I have read on the forum they may be Spock? cymbals. They all appear to be hand hammered. The two smaller ones measure 6'' across and are of different weights. I don't have a scale yet to weigh them. The larger one looks like a small china and is 11.5'' across. All of the cymbals are quite heavy for their size. Any help identifying these would be greatly appreciated. I wonder how rare they are?

Wow.......those look VERY cool............sound good?

I would make a pair of hats out of the smaller ones...........

Please DO NOT clean them! Looks like it took 80-90 years to get that way...............

They sound amazing!! Best of all there are no cracks in them. No worries I don't plan on polishing them, but I will have to devise a set up to hang them as the holes are very small.

They're Chinese, that's all I can tell you.

The small pair looks like low boys. Those were predecessors to hi-hats.

I find these cymbals on eBay all the time. Also I have a newer small bell cymbal made by Wuhan that looks very similar to your cymbals, wich I think is called a chung cymbal. They where originally made for spiritual purposes, chanting praying etc, and they're pretty intersting in a drums set. Am I way off here? Just trying to help!

Thanks for the info. I think they sound amazing when struck with a mallet. I will definately be incorporating them into my kit. Maybe get some good mojo from them.
