I can't seem to find a foot pedal bracket for a cocktail drum. I have a converted Iron Cobra pedal which works OK justs sitting under the drum, but I would like a little more stability with a pedal bracket. Anyone have a used one they want to sell? Also I'm looking for a Rogers Dynasonic frame & snares from around 1965 -- the one with the rubber tips on the ends. Also a snare rim from the same period -- the one with the half round cut outs, not the circle cut outs. Thanks.
Need Cocktail drum pedal bracket
Don, hey there again- have you gone over to the CocktailDrum Lounge website?
They have a For Sale area and links to Cocktail drum related auctions. Im sure you can find one or atleast order one from any drum store- the Yamaha model (the one I have myself) is great. Good luck with it- if I run across one I will PM you as well.

Thanks OsakaBop, I went to the Cocktail Drum Lounge website, but couldn't find a pedal bracket -- everything else, but... Anyway, if you have any other ideas, let me know.
Thought some might be interested in my sit-down cocktail set.
My cocktail drum kit is a modified Ajax Nu-Sound Staccato drum set from the 60's. They were the top of the line for Ajax at the time. All I've done is modify the 14" floor tom to a cocktail bass drum/floor tom combination, and attach the 12" tom to a cymbal stand with a no-name 8" tom next to it. The drums sound great, and it is a very compact kit. I love the die cast hoops, they give the drums a solid sound. The kit is great as a sit down arrangement, instead of the traditional stand up cocktail set.
What size drum? I have the bracket from my GP kit. But it was on a 15" drum. I converted a PDP pedal with a base so I don't have to use it.
I'm not sure if it can be modded to fit other drums.
Here's my cocktail kit. Trying to sale it locally.

My pedal. As long as there's a rug under it, it stays in place. Another option if you dont want a bracket. Just find a pedal with a base and convert.

Don't mean to hijack your thread but here's some more pics of my kit with gibraltar cymbal/hi hat arms.

The snare is a 10" Pearl firecracker. The wrap is ruby red diamond pearl from drummaker.com
I can get pics of the stock bracket if you want?
Steve
Yes, I would like pics. How much do you want for it? Also could you copy the post to my email address dt@donthorpe.com?
I made one out of aluminum bar stock. My first attempt was OK but sometime I'll have a machine shop do one so the metal doesn't stress when it's bent.
