Jonni,when I get to detailing these I will let you know. I too am a little anal when it comes to detailing. I'm currently working on a Pearl kit for my nephews school. My wife laughs at how I break down all the lugs to clean them. Yes it is a lot of work, but like you I know it has been done properly and to the best of my abilities. The kids should really like it; 22 bass, 13 rack, 16 & 18 floors with a Slingerland student snare, hats, crash, ride and china. I'll post some pics when I get it finished.

Those are sweet drums, man. I just picked up a Star kit last week and I have been tearing it apart and cleaning it, just like jonnistix does. I remove all the hardware from the drums, clean all the parts with chrome polish and cleaner, and clean/wax the shell wrap. Yours are in pretty great shape, they should clean up very nice!

The added original stands are a bonus!
