Need a little help identifying drums

Loading...

I got this kit from the local JR high school about 17 years ago and they were (originally ?) painted red. No snare was included.I refinished them about 12 years ago in transparent red.

The tom holder on the bass is not the original (original is pictured atop the 12" ride tom for reference.

Drum sizes are as follows: Bass 18x14 ,ride tom12x8 , floor tom 14x14. The ride tom has a Ludwig mount, and the rail mount (pictured but not mounted) is also labeled Ludwig.

My guess is Ludwig Club Dates based on my research so far?

I am confused by the claws and tension rods on the bass drum as they appear to be Slingerland.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,

Roger

Slingerland lugs - hoops - tone control - floor tom leg mounts...

The only thing Ludwig looks like the tom mounts.

More photos if you got them

Thanks for the response :)

Here are more pics, if there is a specific area that would be helpful let me know.

Also since I posted here I finally found a pic on another site of a similar kit which is Slingerland. I will post it as well for reference.

If you can link to the site the photo came from for that set that would be great.

You have a Slingerland drum set. All of the information you need is on the main web site.

http://www.vintagedrumguide.com

Click on Slingerland..... tons of info and catalog drum set pages.

Here's the link , just click on "Drum Sets" and scroll down the page about 3/4 of the way.

http://www.vintagedrums.com/

I did look through all the info before I posted , and didn't see a kit with the dual lugs in the middle of the drum like that?

Thanks again

Thanks David

Not knowing what they were kinda made it tough searching for claws and T-rods for the bass.
