I've always been partial to the name, Phodius! lol (pronounced; foe-dee-us.)

I got caught smoking in the boys room with another kid by the pricipal of the school. I didn't even know the other kid, he was there already copping a smoke when I arrived. I had just started talking to him when the principal busted us. He came over to me first and asked, 'What's your name? Which class are you in? Who is your home room teacher?' I answered his questions and then he turned on the other kid and asked him the same thing. The kid looked up at him and said, 'My name is, Phodius Papamichael!' The principal slapped him in the face hard and yelled; 'Knock it off, wiseguy! Now what's your real name?' The kid was crying as he pulled out his I.D. and said, 'Look! My name -is- Phodius Papamichael!'

The principal didn't know whether to $hit or go blind. He got real flustered and said, 'Both of you, get the hell out of here and don't let me catch you smoking on school grounds ever again!' We both ran out of there as fast as we could go.

I have never forgotten that kid's name! I say we name the pioneer, Phodius in his honor. lol

Gold sparkle.Ludwig didn't have an orange sparkle at the time. They usually sound pretty good, depending on bearing edges, heads and tuning.I'd say 125 to 150 would be fair.Pioneers are considered student models.

Phodius it is! That's a great story, John. Is that a Greek name?

Yes, there was a few blocks in my old neighborhood called, 'Little Athens.' I was lucky to grow up in a very diverse area of Manhattan. Our 'crowd' had members of every race and nationality you can think of. Irish, Greek, Italian, Latino, Black, White, oriental, you name it, we had one... or three! LOL

I just laughed out loud reading Purdie's post/story. Funniest thing I've seen all day. Kudos.
