Go on drumarchive.com and look under Beverley, you see the whole console

Bob Pengilly found the console on Ebay UK, years ago, it was also made by Dean and son. I ended up with a hi hat in some vintage stuff and gave it to Bob to complete his kit. That console in the Beverley catalog was the Streamlined console in the Premier catalog and was found also in the Carlton catalog

well I bought it. The auction house is shipping to me so I'll post more pics soon.

Capt - I asked them to check with their vendor if there was a mysterious pedal found with the drum. My hopes aren't high but you never know.

I have a pre war Beverley parts catalog in my stuff I'm shipping from the UK in the next week or two, I'm hoping there is a clear pic of this snare pedal. It would be a remarkable if they had the foot pedal somewhere lost in a bunch of junk

well it arrived this morning and apart from the busted lug it looks in pretty good shape. All the levers seem to operate, the wires, although rusty, are all there and the calf heads seem to be ok too. I haven't removed a head to look inside yet as I'll spray a little WD-40 on the T-rods to loosen them up. Will update later today with what's going on inside. Just need to find a lug now - easyFalling Do No pedal unfortunately.

So, am I seeing this right...the foot pedal operates the external snares and there is also a set of internal snares operated by a knob? The interior appears to be in really good shape.

Yep, you are seeing it right. The internal wires are on the batter side and can be switched on and off and the tension adjusted too.

That us a really cool find. As to engineering art, what could possibly go wrong with a set of devices like that?

So somehow the pedal turns on and off TWO sets of snares, if I understand it correctly. Amazing.
