This came in a big lot of parts I grabbed a few months ago. Anyone know who made it ? I'm assuming its a percussion mount meant to instal on a cymbal stand...
Hex post is 3/8" and about 1.5" tall , hole diameter about 5/8"
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi sanityclause, it looks like a cowbell holder to me. Possible 5/8 on cymbal stand or other support and 3/8 for device....cowbell etc.

I was thinking the hex part could instal in a floor tom knobby and then the upper half of a cymbal stand could instal into the 5/8 hole. Assuming its a Rogers part, but I've not come across anything like this in any of Rogers catalogs that I've glanced through. That does not rule out that its Rogers made though.... The swan legs were fairly sturdy, but I'm not sure a swan leg could sustain the weight of a percussion instrument being struck...
I`m going with vintage cowbell attachment. 1) center pole length and size. 2) my cowbells both have hex holes with same type wing screw tighten bolts.
Sc,it certainly looks to be Rogers but they stamped everything they made, so i find that unusual that there is no manufacturer stamp on this piece.As you mentioned by your Rogers catalog research...this is a part i`ve never seen before in any Rogers catalog.This attachment may have been used on a knobby floor tom leg in a cocktail set.Interesting part and hope some on here can solve the mystery for you.

I'm fairly certain that Rogers did have an L and straight post specifically to instal a cowbell, and then there was the hex L percussion arm as well. Would there be a need for a 4th option? Perhaps... I really don't know much about their options to mount percussion, but ya gotta love all the couplings and swiv-o stuff in general. Fantastic parts.
Yes, I'm thinking possibly something to do with a cocktail set up.

Hmmm, not sure about that. If I'm understanding what you're saying, that seems a bit redundant. I'm certainly not ruling what you're saying out, but the couplings can be used on any straight or hex post so what would be the need for this piece? I guess it would give more options of placement... There is another part that I've owned that is specifically for mounting a stick tray , but this is not it...unless its an older version?

If You Look up a 1958-59 Catalog you will find this piece, I had one of them years ago. It serves as a utility can post cow bell , stick tray basicly any thing with that piece.
