Mystery MIJ Cymbal/Snare Stand-Your guess?

Loading...

Hello,

I recently picked up a bunch of flat base stand bottoms (Some MIJ, and a few Ludwig "Standards"). Does anyone know what the stand below might be? I ended up picking up 4 of them. 1 was a hi-hat stand, because of the "slit" opening for the spring at the lower part of the base (and a pedal hook, almost like a hollow snare drum butt plate, at the very base of the stand, but the photo below is a non-hi-hat model).

The t-screw at the top is 6mm threading, but interestingly enough the screw/washer combination at the bottom of the stand (that keeps the legs tight) is 5/16" thread. I figure the distinctive ends of the legs might be a clue.

Thanks for your help.

Yep, MIJ -- I have one of these around that came with an unbranded MIJ kit.
