Yes, I'm still waiting for an update also. I posted about the possibility of this drum being part of the original Snow White premier, because in addition to a full orchestra, Disney had a band playing also as part of the all-day festivities. The premier was a huge deal at the time with tickets (at $5 each) going only to the aristocrats, while the general public watched the festivities and listened to the live music outdoors.
If this drum was part of that premier, it would be quite valuable, and I'll bet Disney would want it themselves for it's historical significance.
