So whats the deal? Were the characters painted by a Disney artist, I have to know!

Yes, I'm still waiting for an update also. I posted about the possibility of this drum being part of the original Snow White premier, because in addition to a full orchestra, Disney had a band playing also as part of the all-day festivities. The premier was a huge deal at the time with tickets (at $5 each) going only to the aristocrats, while the general public watched the festivities and listened to the live music outdoors.

If this drum was part of that premier, it would be quite valuable, and I'll bet Disney would want it themselves for it's historical significance.

I pm'd the owner a few days ago that this thread was resurrected and to add any updates...As you can see, he came online and asked what an OP was and left again without any updates...

I do still have the Disney drum and never did run down any research on Disney collection sites, so i continue to enjoy my little vintage collection.
