Gotta love those keystones... that's a good looking kit. Can you give some details.. sizes.. serial#'s.. maybe a little on where you picked it up. I always enjoy hearing that stuff about a kit.

Again very good looking drums!

Hi Jim,

This will probably dissappoint you but this kit is a bitza (bits of this and that).

Living in Australia it is hard to get complete kits shipped over from the States so I had to buy it all separately.

The Bass Drum is a WFL 22 x 14 dated around 1957 ( I made the cardinal sin of putting on a rail mount and folding spurs, please forgive me).

The 13 x 9 is a white interior 1960's with a baseball bat muffler. (keystone badge)

The 16 x 16 is a 1970's (blue and olive badge) grey speckled interior.

The Supraphonic snare drum is a 2007.

This is my 4 decade kit and even though the drums are years apart they just sound awesome.

So that's the story, not the perfect vintage kit but I still love 'em.

cheers,

Kevin

No disappointment... good story.. must have been a real interesting project.

Cardinal sin of modification.. in the end, they're your drums, you worked hard to get'em, so build them out the way you want... no squawking here.

Thanks for sharing the photo and the details.
