Nice looking kit, but the asking price is a bit over the current market.

One in the same sizes as your basic 3-piece appeared for sale on eBay last year. I was sorely tempted to push the button, but hit the escape key because I already have too many drums. Really like that wrap. It is odd that some of the kits that were not at the time considered to be top of the line, had the more interesting finishes. This includes quite a few that we list as MIJ these days. I see similar ones appearing now on new Gretsch and Ludwig kits being produced. Check out this Gretsch offering, for example. Of course, this Gretsch will knock you back about $2k or more - without a snare, and second floor tom, a second snare, and, and........................

Don't you love the relatively easy entry price of a good ole vintage kit?

That is a nice kit. Ludwig will reissue the same wrap this year in their Keystone line. Even if it is the only kit of its kind in Alabama (who could prove otherwise?). I see it going for under $1000 best case scenario. Good luck though. I have a blue sparkle standard kit on my wish list.

Beautiful kit. I'd take 'em over those Gretsch in a minute. Ignore the comments about price--You're the one who can say what they're worth to you. I thought we'd agreed to keep the opinions about selling prices to ourselves, but apparently not everyone got the message. Good luck with your sale......marko

What they are worth to a person and what the market actually is getting for that kit are two different things. If seller doesn't want comments, they can choose to lock the thread themselves. An opinion on realistic value of what the market can be helpful

That would be a nice add to the 14 and 16 he's got, but I agree, never seen one.

i'd say with the two snares and the extra floor tom, your price is certainly in line if there are no issues. whether they will sell for that or not is hard to say.
