My Rogers Kits - Identification Help!!

Loading...

Hey all!

I have a few questions about my vintage Rogers kits.

The kit I use most often is a gorgeous gloss black 6-piece

(without the snare), with sizes 12,13,14,15, and 16

toms. the bass is a 22 inch. I am told it

could have been from the 70's seeing that it has memori-lock hardware.

The Rogers emblem is on outside of the drums with a chrome rounded square

border. Any idea the model, shell type, and year?

Also, I have a jazz kit (I want to say from the 60's maybe?).

It is a sturdy light green pearl wrap. The set is a 20 inch bass,

14 floor tom, and a 14 Dyna Sonic snare. The tom that can be

mounted on the left side of the bass drum with a swivel bracket is missing : (.

The right side bracket holds a straight (and quite short) cymbal stand. The snare is 6 ply with a paper badge

glued on the inside which reads: [No. 18304 HOLIDAY Model Made in U.S.A.

by ROGERS Established in 1849 Cleveland, Ohio]. Any idea of the year

or shell type?

Both of the drums have the inner shell coated with a gray

primer. I wonder if this was the factory coating?

I know pictures would help a ton, I'll take some if needed.

Thanks a ton!
