My Rescue Project - (Stewart content)

Loading...

My first post here, found this very helpful site while researching info on my latest rescue project. Just acquired them, and looking forward to spending way too much time making them sparkle, much to my wife's chagrin!

Stewart 20" kick, 12" tom

Musketeer 14" snare and 16" floor tom (not shown) with the same aged WMP finish...they are all about the same age, and the yellowing is consistent to make them all look like a matched set save for the logos. All toms have 3 ply shells with re-rings, so I've read that might make them pre-1966. Nice to know there will be something else in my house as old as I am. I'm going to clean them up, recut the edges, and put some new heads on. Im not really expecting all that much from them, but they look really cool, and have lots of vintage-y-ish-ness. Keep on Pl
