My New Premier 101 Kit

Loading...

I finally finished up this 2 piece kit. The Premier 12" toms are really awesome sounding. Very melodic and resonant, even with cast hoops. I'll get some pictures posted, once I find a nice place to set up the drums.

I'm still looking for a matching floor tom. I should have pulled the trigger on that 16" that was on *bay about 6 months ago. :( Oh well, one will eventually show up.

My son accompanied the choir and keyboardist in church this morning, so I was able to snap a couple quick pictures. I'd love to get some shots of it outside in natural lighting. I bet the details of the Mahogany wrap would really show up.

From Domrom

I have a 1965 set that I had bought brand new...I am the only owner of it....If you know Premiers it is a 58 set...20/12/14 and Royal Ace metal piccolo snare. ...But I do not want it to go just to anybody but somebody who would appreciate the great quality.

What a great kit. If you sell it here, you can be sure it will go to someone who realizes its provenance and will take good care of it.

Good luck.

Just read about a guy in UK who collects that finish....

4 snares/7 kits or something....

He might be the guy to buy them....

Maybe it was mentioned on DFO......

Here's an update on this kit.

My son used it for a local talent competition on Friday. They sounded and looked great mic'd up and on stage.

Thanks, gonedrums, for the floor tom. It fits perfectly with the rest of the kit.
