My new favorite drummer Last viewed: 3 hours ago

From Purdie Shuffle

What you see is the Korean version (rip-off) of this guy:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItZyaOlrb7E&feature=relatedThis video has been circulating for more than a year. I imagine the nut-job in Korea saw it and thought it was so cool, he would model himself after it.It's fun for a minute. It's also a great way to get yourself fired. That kind of 'stealing the spot-light' from the front-man or woman by drawing so much attention to yourself is a sure way to make the phone stop ringing with people offering you work. And I haven't mentioned that the Korean guy can't play worth a lick. It would be different if the drummer had talent.Personally I think it's kinda stupid and is a gross display of egotism and exhibitionism. All those faces he makes... dumb, da, dumb, dumb.John

John, I agree with you 100%. Maybe we should cut this guy a bit of slack though.I have heard through the Korean grapevine that he was so hyper and joyous because the beautiful lady singer actually agreed to meet him after the gig in a clandestine meeting of "seouls". I understand that he had been trying to get the singer to listen to his tail of woe for months, Apparently, his wife doesn't understand him. Man, we've all been there! He does have a nice smile.

Wow.......obviously sooo over the top, and the Korean dude is an awful drummer to boot. That being said he is very likeable and seems to be having a good time......the other guy needs to be bum rushed by the rest of his band mates and be beaten to a pulp back stage.......;)

Now that is show business! After a performance like that, all you can say to your audience is "thank you both!"

By the way, that is like the tallest straight stand ever. What would make this better is if he were to suspend his cymbals from the ceiling with wire rope. Oh, and some cats (for RogerSling)
