My new edition snare for my vintage luddys

Loading...

I recently bought a brand new Ludwig accent Cs 14X5 wood snare off ebay for $50. I just finished wraping it in vintage sky blue pearl to match my 68 Ludwig hollywood kit. I bought a 60's keystone badge to go on it too. it turned out fabulous! I did the 20" floor tom a few nights ago. the new wrap is a little bluer than my old luddys, but what the hay, the floor tom is in the back and you cant really tell and im sure the snare will blend in as well. I guess it dont matter since Im not planning on selling them. Im glad to be on here because no one else gives a dang about my mission to complete my drums. Now I am going to have to clean and restore the rest of my luddys and sonors. Thanks guys for all your input and for comforting me about the new wrap not matching perfectly. Befoore and after pics.
