Hi,
You are aware that the strainer is a Leedy Speedway strainer, correct?
Since the original holes from the P338 are probably still there I would swap out the Speedway strainer for an original L&L P338 or even a new Ludwig P80 as they are way better strainers than the Speedway model...doing that will take care of any potential playing/performance problems with your drum or if you are just going to display the drum then it will be authentic, if that's of any importance to you...just a suggestion...enjoy your new drum.
