This is '70's era MIT, Luan wood shells. I recut the bearing edges to a double 45 on all drums, re-wrapped with a ruby red micro-sparkle wrap, and converted the 8x12 rack tom to a snare drum. Boy oh boy does it pop too.

I really like how this one turned out. Darned shame I can't quite capture those pretty little micro-sparklies in the photos. The closeup gives a hint at least.
