I remember seeing a red white blue wrapped kit in a store here in '76. Bicentennial colors. It was really very cool. Ludwig I think, 22 12 13 16 and snare if I remember correctly. The fellow that bought it played around here with a couple different groups. I remember he put a well done stars and stripes on the bass reso head in the early 80's. No clue about him or the kit nowadays.

I used to have a 12x20,12,14 canister in blue silver blue sparkle from the 60's! It was a cool set but the bass drum had some mods and I ended up selling it!DOH That canister was one rare piece! It came out of Bangor ME high school. Wish I had it back.
