My first vintage bass drum!

Got this 22x14" Hayman couple days ago,and I am very happy. It is overall in good condition, has drilled hole for different tom holder(i believe is Tama or something similar, got made in Japan under it).And have two holes under drum legs bracket and missing bass drum legs. Some scratches inside, but generally good for 40 year old drum.Cost me 100 $ with shipping, but I am very happy that I have it,sound like a thunder! Here are some pics from inside and out and badge and edges.Since I am missing bass drum legs,I will try to make them from some floor tom legs that I have.If any of you nice gentlemen have a Hayman bass drum, can you send me a sketch of those legs with the angles and lengths. My mail is dulemajstorche@gmail.com

Thanks!

Nice buy and a very good price too! You can see where the original Hayman mount was, they were often replaced with other manufacturers tom holders, usually Premier in UK as the Hayman tom mount was a great piece of engineering - but a real knuckle cracker to use!

The bass drum spurs were pretty much identical to Ludwig folding spurs from the 60s so you shouldn't have any trouble finding some to fit.

Thank you Mike, but "you should,t have any trouble",is indeed a trouble!I can find around here Ludwig from that year with those kind of spurs, only latter ones, and ebay and buying from it does not still function here.Closest I can is older premiers from 80-ties and 90-ties with curved mid section of the spur

Yes Steve, double tom holder came with the bass drum and I found it in Tama Imperialstar 1974 catalogue, and it will be very useful when I find some toms

Have you tried contacting dealers directly, for example in the UK? I run Baskey Vintage and supply drummers with parts all over the world, I have sent many parts to Serbia before and sold to them on eBay.

There is no way from Serbia to ebay, there is for example no pay pal system from here, and maybe someone auctioned from some European country and pay from account from there, and you sent it directly to Serbia
