Poppy79424 recently had an Acrolite replated for $125. I had a pitted Supra sand blasted and powder coated black for $75. (Both are discussed in threads here.on VDF.) I don't know if it's the powder coating, or the tube lugs / single flange hoops, or the Remo Fiberskyn head, or all of the above, but the old Supra sounds great! Different from my "stock" Supra (which I still love), not as much ring and a very full sound. I really like it.
