My wife tells me all the time I'm just a big kid... :)
Really though... for no more than you've got in it, keep it!

Your a big kid too! Thats awsome. Ya I did say I woud just give it to some kid but I was really just wanted to see what kind of reaction it would cause and, I wasnt too excited about it then. Alot of the guys think its a good drum and now I am more excited about it. Someday, I might find the rest of his family.

I've been playing that snare (I think they call it a "festival") since the 5th grade (in the 70's). Even after useing other snares I always go back to it. Just took my out of the case to replace my Tama piccalo. Keep it, you'll love it.
"It not too exciting, probably give it to a kid somwhere."
"I just got rid of an old MIJ cos snare and it sounded really good."

Look at you jccabs! I bet you and Jonnistix are in the background snickering like little kids!
It's certainly not a serious criticism - just funny and fun -that I like to see on here!
(As you will see below, I am a fan, particularly of Slingers and MIJs!)
I bought one of these, well, a late 60s 6.5x14 10 lug COB - for $50 from a friend in high school about 25 years ago. It severed me very well - then I sold it last year for $170. Gotta pay rent, right! Got another with my Slinger kit though (though only 5 incher)
