I am fairly new to the forum and hope that the other members do not mind helping me date my snare...it is a five line Dyna and the serial # is in the 224OO's. Would this place it in the Dayton or Fullerton production runs? About what year? I guess I will have to break down and buy the the Cook's guide at some point. I've set my Gretsch 'stop sign era' 5 piece maple kit in the corner, and have been playing the Cleveland BDP 'Holiday' 4 piece that I put together out of shells found in an attic; almost exclusively. I am hooked. The fourth piece is the snare I am asking about which was bought seperately. I'm pretty sure that the bass and toms are early 60's. Thanks, Gary
