Thanks again.. Couple of notes. I have a clear 6" acrylic and a 5" Rosewood Segment shell I need to get pics of. All of the segment snares and the Keller ply shells were made by yours truly. They all have a badge with the name of 'Goetz' on them. I was working with/for another when I started building, that is his badge. I obviously have more pics of stuff I've built, but these are all mine..

Glad you guys are enjoying them. Why don't you all come over for a cleaning party.. I'll supply the beer and cleaning supplies and security for leaving. I'm afraid Purdie couldn't be trusted with the hammered bronze. Laughing H

Wouldn't be the first time I've had to frisk someone on the way out. I occasionally rent my snares to a local studio. Some years back, the studio had rented the snares for Atma Anur. Atma has played on tons of records and for a short while in the 80's, was in Journey before they hired Mike Baird. Anyway, Atma loved the multi colored piccolo and tried to get me to sell it to him. I obviously didn't, but when I gave him a ride to the airport, I joked about "patting him down" before he got on the plane.

There are a couple of stories on the that shell and the other 13" Keller, but I'll save them for another post...

Thanks again...

Firstly, can I just say NICE! Secondly, after i'd calmed down and had a cold shower, I took another look, and couldn't help but notice the case you've got them in. Did you make it yourself ? I'm thinking of having a go at making one myself. Maybe for all my kit, not just snares. Again, NICE!

Drums are loud....So play them LOUD!!!

Thanks...

I have built cases for my drums, but not that one. If you are giving it a go, here's a place to start: http://www.diyroadcasesstore.com/ I haven't checked their prices, but once you know what you are looking for, its easy google...

Good luck and show pics!!

>I'm afraid Purdie couldn't be trusted with the hammered bronze.

I was going to wear a kilt so I could smuggle it out between my legs hidden under my skirt. I figured I'd be safe because, after all, who would want to put their hands up another guys kilt! Now I see that you're just paranoid enough about losing that drum, to try to find out if guys actually wear skivvies under those things!!!

Not to worry, the last thing I 'stole' was a candy bar and I was 7 years old. Oh, and that 63' SBP Hollywood kit that came with a COB that I got for $600. a couple of months ago! LoLoLoLo

John :p

Too many great drums to list here!

We all learn our lessons... As I mentioned, you wouldn't be the first I frisked on the way out... LoLoLoLo

Besides, I'd just give you a Marylyn Monroe moment and the world would see..
