How come? I have a blacrolite but just to sort of match my Galaxy drums. I think the older ones look much better.

funny, i was thinking the same thing matt. i too have the blacro because it goes well with my galaxy kit. but i think the pointy badge models sound much better, more open. if youre looking for a more focused sound, the blacro is the ticket though.

I have a couple of the Pointy badge Acro's and I was also thinking a Blackrolite would look good when I use my Black Galaxy bass drum and Silver Sparkle toms with black ambassador heads. Or am I being to much of a decor drummer. I want one thats in excellent condition like my Acrolite.

Are the blacrolites black and white badge? I was under the impression that ludwig only made them with black/white badges? If you have one that is blue/olive please let me know...or post a picture...thanks

the blacros should all be black and white badges, even the 6.5 model.

there is one exception for a 10 lug 5x14 blacro that came with the ludwig birch series. they have a keystone badge that i think is silver in color.
