Mounting plate For Gretsch Shell

Loading...

Guys, please take a look at this Gretsch shell.

Most Gretsch shells were drilled for the famous Diamond plate Tom Tom mount with the 4 holes.

This shell, however, was drilled at the Factory for the optional "Bass hoop Mount" plate with only Two holes. This was a dealer option and I've seen several like this. it generally means the shell is from the 1950s.

Ok, the magic question.....where can I get the two hole plate to fit this shell?

I dont want to drill for a diamond plate if I dont have to.

anyone got one?

Thanks!
