Yep. Can you get one of the snare butt? Is the the standard fare? This is a very early, like 64=66 Star. Nice find!!!

Would you let us in on how mucho dinero? This is just an amazing find. These early Stars are so rare and hard to get, let alone in desirable wraps. This is a oyster pearl wrap, I want to say ruby...? Is that likely what it could be? The reason I am certain it is Star is because of the snare and bass lugs, and the bass T-rods. That is one cool strainer as well. If you need to repair it, let me know. I think I have an exact replacement I can exchange. I'll look in my new pile.

And I don't remember, did you ever tell the sizes? Looks like a 12" tom.

Here are some pics of the snare and yes I could use a strainer replacement, thanks. All of the drums have the little made in japan sticker in them. I paid 225.00 Cdn. for them and got the throne, hi hat stand, kick pedal, snare stand and bass mount cymbal stand.Sizes are 22x14 bass, 14x5 snare, 16x15 floor tom, 13x9 rack tom.

I think I have pone of those. Let me look at my pile. It will have to be reconditioned, so give me little and we can work it out. The fade is so minimal. Fantastic.

Well, I am going to have to recondition it. Let me get that done and I'll let you know. What is wrong wth that one? Is it just stiff and hard to work? I am looking at a way to get it restored to a workable part so that it lasts for a while. Other than that, we have to go modern. If you have to go modern, I'll let in on the one strainer that is the best, and most inexpensive, on the market.
