modern JAMM/Cosmic Perc - with RERINGS

This was a surprise and a bit of a tickler - Not going to drive to see these - but just curious. Have any of you seen this (or any other modern brand) kit using RERINGS - as it implies thinner shells.

Hummm - modern drums with thin shells and rings......sounds like a little sleeper deal in the making.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

i have a Supra 16" bass drum with re-rings, and plastic chrome-painted lugs

there are definite flat spots on either side of the seam where the rings are joined, so unless its built well, it doesn't mean much
