Well, yes, and no...I added a veneer to the interiors as the old mahog was becoming very brittle, so I sanded them smooth and applied a ply of curly maple veneer to the insides, and then 3 coats of laquer.

Very deep resonance. The tom is a bit tricky, with the wrong head it has a narrow range. It has an Evans Genera Dry (the one with little holes all around) on it now and sings well. The bass and Floor tune nicely, and all together, it sounds good. I have had a few people play them, and they are trying to get me to sell. One was an offer of an obscenely high price, for MIJ and my comfort level of said drums, but the wife will not let me part with them, she likey....
