Mid 50's Zildjian A 22" Ride?

Just traded for this really cool 22" Zildjian A Rideelectricit

Such a beautiful dark sound and stick contact clarity(not sure how to describe this)Hmmmm

Its a fantastic sounding and looking addition to my '66 Star kit!

I think it's a late 50's to early 60's cymbal due to the clarity and heavieness of the stamp, but don't know much about this. Experienced thoughts would be appreciated here.

Should I worry about or attempt to fix the slight keyholing to impact the sound?

nice looking pie. congrats. any idea of the gram weight on it? i wouldnt worry about that keyhole one bit. ive got an 18 and some 20's from that era but not a 50's 22.

I'll go to the UPS store near my house today to weigh it. I'll post when I find out.

I was initially looking to trade this guy for a later era, 20", but it was gone. When I pressed him for another ride (he was really interested in the drums I was trading) he took this from his son's kit. He didn't realize it's size initially, but we both got excited when we found out.

I love trading gear!
