It keeps turning off by itself. Is there a way to repair it? Seems like the only way it will stay on is if i crank the snares real tight... But i dont like the sound.

If you are having trouble with this strainer and unable to remedy, I would suggest purchasing the new Microsensitive strainer, which is built much better and attaches to the original holes. Safely store the original away, so you'll have it, should you ever decide to sell the drum. I think you'll like the new strainer better, too!
