G'day lads&mates! :).Does anyone know what colur(s) model &size Ludwig drums &Zildjian cymbals&drumheads the late&great Michael Lee(Page&Plant The Cult Thin Lizzy etc) endorsed&used both live &In the studio? &whether there's any drum magazine feature interviews done on him?

Did he pass away? That's sad. Great drummer, I saw him tour with Page & Plant in Melbourne. Certainly did the ol zep songs justice. Can't help with any of your questions though sorry.

I saw him on PBS WITH R Plant,as I remember Gold Sparkle Classic Maples,looked like standard sizes,I noted the kit was very Bonhamesque ,Looked like standard depths ,maybe 14 tom ,16 18 ft,at least a 24 kick.

michael was one of my main influences. i first discovered him when he played for "little angels".

an awesome drummer, and very sadly missed!

as for his kits, i'm not massively sure on, but i know he did use a big pearl d/kick kit through the early 90's with little angels.

i think he used pearl with the cult, then moved to ludwig.

with page&plant, he went for the bonham set-up - 26" kick etc.

i saw him play with thin lizzy in 2008, and he had a massive d/kick ludwig silver sparkle!
