Mica Swingline 8x12 tom MIJ

I bought this on eBay a few weeks ago

It has the original Mica Swingline heads that are in good shape.

To me it's a very nice tom .....very sparkley....like Glass Glitter...and sounds not too bad. The finish as far as I can tell is identical to what is on my Blue Foil badged 9x13 Kent tom.

Does anyone here have a Mica kit or know the history of these drums? I did go to the Made In Japan site here and found a red Mica Swingline badge pictured - different than mine.
