I didn't post these here I believe... Played my ASBA back in August at a national scouting gathering or something. Memorable evening. Got horribly stuck in traffic together with the pianist. Our instruments were in another car, which was also stuck in traffic. Arrived at the gig less than 20min before we were due to start.

Spent more time in traffic on my way over there than actually playing.

But I had fun.

Coated emperors on top/coated ambassadors on bottoms. Bass drum still has original heads. My experience with soundmen at these kind of venues is that they always go for this horrible clicky "metal" bassdrumsound anyway, and as I was short on cash I decided not to spend any money there. Instead I took a blanket and the guy was happy. I was happy too I did not have to worry.
