Hello
Very nice set of drums! Ive been buying, selling, restoring, appraising, collecting and loving drums for more than 30 years. Ive never seen or heard of a set like yours. Beautiful wrap! They look pretty well made. Now about selling those here in America you are gonna have to be patient. Americans love their own drums! Theres nothing wrong with that…but they gravitate toward Gretsches, Ludwigs, Camcos, etc…I myself have my share of rare sets too. Asbas, Haymans,Hollywood (meazzy), Premiers…They wont sell that fast. I'd say the only non American set that sells quick are Sonors. People are curious about Haymans because of the turret lug but they are not too willing too pay good for them. Same with the other ones. They would go: "Hm! Interesting…" But the actual act of buying them is way slower. I learned in time that sets such as these are slower sellers. But do not get discouraged! It is a beautiful set ( I myself would buy em on a heartbeat if the market wouldn't be so soft right now). They will eventually sell. Just give them some time. Best of luck finding the buyer!
Cause you got the bug dont'cha?

Can anyone shed light on the history of these? Is this Kawai the piano/keyboard maker? Had no idea they were into drums.
How do they sound?
Vintage Drum bug , thanks for your response and input . Yes sir patience is key . I also have a Meazzi Tronic set... very cool !!
Larryz , Im trying!! I figure if you can't get info on this forum... it probably doesn't exist... seriously these guys know everything... especially in a collaberative mannor . I am suprised I stumped the forum, the badge I posted is now permanent in the online vintage drum reference database !
BTW they sound great , I havn't messed with swapping the original heads or anything.
