Meazzi mod jolly

Loading...

Hello everyone,

I'm willing to buy a new drumkit and I saw this one.

Do you know anything about Meazzi mod Jolly ? Is it made of birch or plywood ?

Here some pictures of the drums. And a picture from the interior of one of the tom shells.

Thanks for your help!

Imitation Slingerland tom mounts, and very similar looking Ludwig type classic lugs..

Cool drum kit. I love that wrap too !

Hello everyone,

first line of Meazzi Jolly were made in a sort of cardboard.

later were made of wood.

poplar, but at the end of production Meazzi didnt care what wood.

they used what they had in stock, so maybe beech too.

anyway that configuration of that set is very strange.

in finish, number and diameters of drums it remembers me a Wooding, not Jolly. badges on all the drums?

very important to tell: omni-ball tom mount was invented by Hollywood Meazzi, then Fibes and Slingerland adopted
