Meazzi Hollywood - President??

Loading...

I just picked up this beautiful Italian made drumkit a couple of weeks ago, I was just wondering if these are the "President" line of drums. There's an air grommet on each shell which states "president". Also, does anyone know what year these drums were made?

Here are the pics:

I just sold a kit almost identical to yours to Richard on here, who lives in Toronto..........

Mine was missing the complete mount on the BD though...

Where are Earth did you find yours?

Found mine WAY up in nowhere land in the U.P. of Michigan (Marquette).

Your drums are circa 1966..........I have a catalogCool1 from that year that shows them exactly like that...........

I got them from this drummer that lives approximately 1 hour drive from Montreal, Canada. I bought them as soon as he posted them on a local classifieds ads website. They looked too cool, I had to have them.

I also have the tom mount arm but, it's missing one small piece that allows the arm mount to attach to the bass drum rod. If I would have a picture of this piece I'd get my friend to machine it. It seems like it might be a complicated piece though, somewhat of a conical metal disk that allows the arm mount fastener to tighten around the bass drum rod. I'll try to post some pictures of the tom arm mount, maybe you have a picture of the missing part in your catalogue.

My son's gonna use this kit for his Rock Band at live shows only, he totally flipped when he saw it. I'm sure it's gonna look great on stage.

That's not a cowbell holder, it's supposed to be the tom arm mount holder, I'm missing the piece that attached the tom arm to the rod. I guess you can use it as a cowbell holder or some other percussion item (s).

PS.........my kit was 22,13,18.......

what sizes are yours?

Also,DW sells a fine thread t-rod that works on these!. You can use a regular drum key then........

Looks like you are missing the correct hoop on the bottom of the 13"......too bad..
