MAXIM drums anyone?

Just curious - has anyone heard of these drums? 1970's stencil drums I would guess.

Hi Mattias!

The kit looks more like a 60's stencil. Based on the hardware, they MIGHT be Hoshino. I'm pretty sure they're not Pearl or Star. I'm sure others will offer up their thoughts on these.

Thanks Mark! Yes, I think you might be right. I found some Hoshino pics online with very similar lugs and railmount.

I had a Maxim bass drum when I was a kid - from what I remember it was red wrap of some sort and the badge was thinner writing than this one.

At the time, it was just a mis-matched kit, gradually being built up for me piece by piece (birthdays and Christmas') and I replaced it with a white Tama Swingstar when I got the chance. Now of course, I wish I still had it!
