Mardi Gras Drum Wrap now available

Loading...

After many many tweaks and endless experiments I managed to come up with a very true to the original Mardi Gras wrap. Even the little colour-confettis are slightly pearlexcent, just like the original. It's funny how the ones I think will be easy, turn out to be the most challenging.....

Nice job.

Do you have anything close to the original Champagne wrap used on Ludwig's in the 60's?

Our Champagne Traditional True Sparkle isn't far off. http://walopus.com/product/traditional-champagne-sparkle-drum-wrap

If you would like us to custom make a re-production of the exact wrap, you can place the order on this page: walopus.com/product/custom-traditional-true-sparkle-drum-wrap

Once I have your order i'll send you a mockup to either approve or suggest alterations. We can repeat this step until you're 100% satisfied.

Hi Mitch, Unfortunately that's not possible. The Company I share the factory with are VERY secretive about our manufacturing process.

Looks pretty good!! I'm suprised that Delmar never seemed to be interested in re-producing mardigras... Nice Job!!

I think Delmar may have made a limited run. Steve Maxwell had it for his Gretsch drums a few years back. See attached photos. I saw a set in his NYC store and it was very cool.

Also, Precision had it for a short time, but I was told they don't expect to get more. So this is really good news that you've got it now. Do you expect to continue production for a while?
