it's not really vintage (only 15 something years old), but nonetheless rather rare: I have been offered a mapex solid bronze snare fro 580 euros. it's 6,5 inch deep, 3 mm cast bronze shell with 5 mm reinforcement rings. It is similar to the one in this thread, but has black hardware:

My question is: is 580 a fair price, according to you guys? It's a lot of money for a snare, but I know the tama and sonor ones go much higher... However, this is not such a famous one.
